Tournaments Isaac October 24, 2024 19:10 Updated Follow Tournaments are limited-time live events that allow you to compete against other players. Just climb the ranks of a 100-player leaderboard in the featured game. The more you play, the more GXP you’ll earn, which determines your position on the leaderboard. Joining a tournament is as simple as launching and playing the featured game. As soon as you earn GXP from the game during the specified event window, you’ll be placed on a leaderboard for that game, which means you can officially start competing in the tournament. Players that finish in the top 50 by the time the event ends will join the winner bracket and receive unit rewards. The higher players rank, the better the rewards will be. All rewards are displayed on the leaderboard, and in the event of a tie score, the player who reaches the ranking first will claim the position, dropping the other player to the rank below. In addition, the daily two-hour GXP cap does not apply to the tournament. After two hours of playing the game in a single day, GXP will no longer count toward your checkpoints but will continue to accumulate and impact your spot on the leaderboard – so you can keep on climbing the ranks! The GXP cap after reaching checkpoint 20 also does not apply to the tournament. Finally, all unit rewards will be sent out once the tournament ends. There will no longer be any sign of the tournament, other than a single popup on the Games page that states your final ranking. Players in the winner bracket will receive their unit rewards at this stage, while those beyond the top 50 will simply be encouraged to try again next time. If you do not receive your reward at the end of the tournament, just wait a few minutes and relaunch the Mistplay app. If this does not resolve the problem, please contact Customer Support. 2x GXP Boost Day For one day only, your Loyalty Status GXP earn rate in the tournament leaderboard will be doubled. This will give you the opportunity to rank up at a faster pace or stay ahead of the competition. Note that this GXP boost only applies to the tournament and will not count towards your checkpoint progress. Your rate of earning GXP can vary based on your tier.
