Someone claiming to work for Mistplay contacted me. Jason October 13, 2021 10:40 Updated Follow Mistplay will never contact you to ask for any of your personal information, such as your bank information, credit card information, or social security information. Do not provide any personal information to people claiming to represent Mistplay in the app, over email, on social media, or any other platform. If someone from the Mistplay team reaches out to you (e.g. if you win a Mistplay contest), you will be contacted by someone with an email address ending with "@mistplay.com". If you ever receive an email that ends with anything other than "@mistplay.com", it is not from a Mistplay employee. If you are contacted by someone asking for personal information, even if their email address looks legitimate, they are a scammer. In the Mistplay app, all employees have blue or green usernames. If the person you are chatting with has a regular white or black username, they do not work for Mistplay. Report any person you see impersonating a Mistplay representative, and do not provide them with any of your personal information. You can view all of the official Mistplay social media profiles on our website. If you are ever contacted by an unofficial page that is not visible on our website, they are not affiliated with Mistplay and are not legitimate. Do not provide them with any of your personal information. Have any questions about this article, or suggestions about how we can improve our FAQ? Let our team know!
