Why did the Unit Multiplier drop on my game? Jason March 03, 2021 17:19 Updated Follow If you’ve downloaded a game and you notice that the unit multiplier appears to be lower than what was originally displayed, this means that Mistplay was not credited for your installation. In other words, for some reason the game's developer was not able to verify that you downloaded their game through Mistplay. If this occurs, unfortunately it is impossible for us to award you full units for playing that specific game. To avoid this in the future (1) Make sure it is the first time you install the game on this device. (2) Make sure you always download the game through Mistplay. (3) Make sure you don’t switch between mobile or WiFi networks while you are downloading a game. In some rare cases, even if you use the app properly and follow the above requirements, it is possible that a network glitch causes the install to be incorrectly attributed. If this happens, try installing another game from Mistplay. Related articles Why does someone else have different games than me? Can I delete a game after I've received my units? Not sure what else it could be; 🤯BUT.. if you could somehow check under my profile & gaming history maybe you could somehow get what I could be doing wrong.❇️Thanks for your time❇️ 2 Comment actions Permalink Bane420 June 24, 2020 02:34 Edited I have also had this happen to me on several games. Out of nearly 50 games maybe 35 of them did this and it is very frustrating and greatly hurts making anything on the app. I have contacted customer support twice now about this issue and continue getting stonewalled with this completely unhelpful response here although one time I did get a very small amount of credits which is nothing compared to what I could have made if the games worked properly. I have a perfect internet connection, it is always my first time downloading the games, and always download the games perfectly through mistplay. The very few amount of games that downloaded without this units decreased message had no difference at all in the way I downloaded them from the tons of games I did get this error message on. Then the last part of this completely unhelpful answer is download another game. The game selection is incredibly small and only adds a new game once or twice a month if you are lucky and I have downloaded every game available to me on your app , 80 percent of which have a red units decreased message on it, and there is nothing left to download. I cannot even play the few games that downloaded properly because the GXP timer is telling me to wait 8-20 hours to receive GXP again. And what is the point because once two weeks go by and a new game arrives for me to download , there is an 80 percent chance I will get the units decreased message at level 5 and never be able to play it again like the rest of them. Ridiculous. Can you guys please fix your app or tell me what is wrong with my downloads because this answer does nothing at all to solve the problem. 3 Comment actions Permalink Vin H June 26, 2020 19:26 Edited This happened to me too with only the games that give 2 units or above. Now, it seems like a search mission to find a game over 1 and a half units that I didn't play or that didn't have this issue. When I emailed them, they just copied and pasted the above answer to my support email. This issue is really killing my experience with Mistplay now. Below are 2 out of 20 games that have this problem. So Mistplay, if you are reading this. Fix this stupid problem NOW! edit: fixed images 1 Comment actions Permalink Janice Marie Ruiz July 12, 2020 02:40 Rewards -2 Comment actions Permalink Revwildo July 24, 2020 09:14 This is a BS excuse. You say it's "impossible" to award full units for the game. If you can boost the multiplier for certain games and you can reduce the multiplier, then there is no reason why you can't restore a multiplier that has been erroneously reduced. If the game developer didn't credit you for the install, then you should take that up with them rather than punishing us and telling us there's nothing that can be done about it. 2 Comment actions Permalink Sherileigh75 July 24, 2020 09:46 Who controls the multiplier, the game developers or Mistplay?? If it's the latter then this really is a load of crap. Just what was said above me, if you can take it away, you can put it back. 0 Comment actions Permalink Article is closed for comments.
