What is a Buddy Quest?

Join forces with fellow Mistplayers in Buddy Quests. This cooperative feature pairs you with a buddy to complete Daily Tasks and earn rewards.

How do Buddy Quests work?

1. Unlock the feature: Complete at least one Daily Task to unlock the Buddy Quest feature.

2. Start a Buddy Quest: Tap Find your Buddy to team up with another user. If someone else is searching for a buddy, you may be paired together.
   
   
   
3. Complete the Quest goal: You and your buddy must complete a set number of Daily Tasks before the Quest ends (typically within a few days).
   
   
   
4. Earn rewards together: As you complete Daily Tasks, you’ll hit rewarded milestones on the way to your main Quest goal. You’ll collect rewards at each milestone, plus a final reward chest.
   

Why didn’t my IAP Daily Tasks count toward my Buddy Quest progress?

If your in-app purchase (IAP) Daily Tasks don’t show as complete (despite having completed them), there could be a delay in updating your task progress. It’s also possible that the developers are processing your purchase information. Please check again later, as this could take up to several hours.

For IAP tasks, remember to spend an amount equal to or greater than the required minimum purchase before taxes. Please note that if there are delays or attribution issues, your task might not count toward your Buddy Quest progress.

How long do we have to complete a Buddy Quest?

Each Quest generally lasts up to seven days, providing ample time to complete the set tasks.

What rewards can I earn?

Once you complete a Buddy Quest, you’ll earn a chest containing one of the following rewards:

• Basic: 200 units – 80% chance
• Rare: 400 units – 15% chance
• Legendary: 1,000 units – 5% chance

Quest goals, timelines, and chest rewards may vary. To see potential rewards, check the specific Quest details.

How do I motivate my buddy?

Send a wave once per day to remind your buddy to complete their set tasks.

What if my buddy is not completing their Daily Tasks?

Don’t worry! You can still pursue the Quest independently.

Despite your buddy’s inactivity, you can reach Quest milestones and claim the associated rewards by completing your tasks. Remember, your hard work will always be recognized.

Can I get unpaired from my current buddy?

While there’s no unpairing option currently available, you can turn off your visibility in the app to stop being paired with other users for Buddy Quests. As mentioned above, you can continue progressing toward milestones and claim rewards on your own.

What if I can’t find a buddy?

If a buddy isn’t currently available, try again later as the system continues to search for a match.

What if I don’t want to participate?

You are not required to participate in Buddy Quests. By not engaging with a Quest, you are temporarily opting out.

What if I don’t have Buddy Quests yet available?

Buddy Quests are gradually being rolled out to all Mistplay users. Before making it available to everyone, we initially introduced this feature to a select group in order to verify that it works correctly.
